Portobello Mushroom Burgers

One for the Keto lovers out there...






Ingredients

  • 2 beef burger patties

  • 2 large Portobello mushroom, cut in half

  • 100 grams of grated or sliced carrot

  • 2 large slices of tomato

  • 50 grams chopped baby spinach

  • ½ small avocado sliced

  • Coconut oil

  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Method

  1. Cut up and prepare salad toppings as desired

  2. Place some coconut oil into a medium- high preheated pan

  3. Cook each beef patty for 3 to 5 minutes, then flip and repeat for the other side

  4. Set cooked patties aside

  5. Cut mushrooms in half and cook in the pain with a little butter & garlic

  6. Place the larger slice of mushroom on a plate to serve as the bottom half of the ‘bun’

  7. Layer the mushroom with your patty and desired toppings

  8. Top the burger with the smaller mushroom slice

  9. Eat and enjoy
