Some quick fire snack ideas

The GAPS approach focuses on warm, soft, nutrient-dense foods to soothe the gut lining and nourish the immune system.

Here are 3 favorite breakfast options.
🥣 Meat stock & poached eggs – Start with a cup of warm meat stock, followed by soft poached eggs with sea salt, cooked spinach, and a dollop of ghee.
🍳 Zucchini pancakes – Grated zucchini, egg, and a little almond flour pan-fried in tallow or duck fat. Serve with avocado or fermented kraut on the side.
🍠 Veggie mash with broth – Simmer pumpkin, carrot, and onion in meat stock, then mash with ghee and salt. Pair with slow-cooked lamb or chicken.

GAPS snacks, on the other hand, are part of the therapy — designed to nourish, regulate, and repair. Here are a few favourites:
🥄 Stewed apple with ghee and cinnamon – Great for calming inflammation and feeding good gut bugs.
🥣 Mini broth mugs – Sip on ½ cup of meat stock between meals to soothe hunger and regulate the nervous system.
🧈 Liver pâté with cucumber rounds – Nutrient-dense, rich in vitamin A, and surprisingly satisfying.
🥚 Boiled egg with sauerkraut – Protein + probiotics = immune love.

These aren’t just “snacks” — they’re microdoses of medicine.
