Gell-ies

Updated: May 3

Making your own snacks doesn't have to be hard. This one can also be used as a desert and served with a stewed fruit.

This is also an option of a way to get powders into kids that won't drink them as it makes it a bit fun and unique.

Ingredients:
20g ginger, finely sliced (optional if you are going to add other flavors)
40g honey
3 Tablespoons gelatine
300g water, room temp

Method:
Place all ingredients in a small saucepan and simmer gently, stirring, for 10 mins.

Remove pieces of ginger with a fork, (if using ginger, otherwise this is where you would add the other powders) then pour jelly into small moulds and place into freezer to set for 20 mins, or until firm.
Option to set into a jar and then have scoops of this when serving.

Makes about 24 jellies.
