Stewed fruit with ghee


In that mid afternoon stage where you feel like eating something but wanting to make a good choice?

Cooking foods makes them more digestible for our bodies. This means that we can get the benefits of the nutritious foods that we are eating.

Ingredients:

  • 4 apples (peeled and de-cored)

  • 4 pears (peeled and de-cored)

  • 1 kiwi fruit

  • 1 teaspoon of ghee (clarified butter)

  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon

  • ½ teaspoon of cardamom

  • 1 teaspoon of grated ginger (fresh)

  • 4 fresh dates

  • 1 tablespoon of raisins

  • ¼ cup of water

Directions:

Add all ingredients into a pot until the fruit softens and then serve.
