Lots of learning

It has been a very busy couple of months my my world with lots of training happening. Constant improvement is something that I focus on quite a bit and I've been quite intentional around what is being learnt.

I had the intention of being able to offer the highest quality of programs to the clients that I see and have recently up skilled in a few key areas that will allow future programs to be really specific to individual needs. Here is a snapshot:

VLA (Vitality, Longevity and healthy Ageing):

Bio impedance analysis (BIA) testing, this has normally looked at the muscle mass/fat mass/fluid mass. Where VLA stands apart is that Phil is trained to interpret that raw data in a way that is individualised for the client

This allows the results to look much more in depth as things such as;

  • Markers for cellular health

  • Tracking of muscle tone and fitness

  • Supporting energy and healthy ageing

  • Optimising nutrition and health outcomes

  • Personalising weight management programs

With this information we are able to then tailor plans that will assist in the goals for the client as well as providing trackable and measurable results.

Kinetic Link Training (KLT) is a challenging and enjoyable approach to resistance training. KLT uses the movement of the whole body instead of traditional weight based programs that focus on one particular muscle group at a time.

Kinetic Link Training (KLT):

KLT aims to improve the body’s ability to ‘move with ease’. Programs can be designed for specific rehabilitation needs or to improve your performance at any level.

Whether you are an elite athlete or simply want to increase your movement, KLT is a great way to develop strength and endurance, improve confidence in your coordination, balance and movements.

Individually tailored programs for you can be created to carry out at home or face to face.
